Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You’ll learn multiple routes, load and unload garments, and ensure timely service while upholding safety and vehicle appearance.

This role emphasizes customer service, problem solving, and teamwork with Service and Management Teams on installations, rerouting, collections, and account coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance required, including a physical exam.
• Experience in customer service or route sales is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and keep the vehicle clean and safe.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams to support new account installations and route coverage.
• Upsell and strengthen customer relationships.
• Communicate customer feedback to location leadership.
