Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load and deliver garments and products, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure timely service across assigned routes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently using problem-solving skills.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws and safety standards; collaborate with the Service/Management teams on new account installations and rerouting.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local market activity.
