Job summary

UniFirst, a global garment services leader, is looking for a Route Coverage Specialist in Longview, TX. You will step in to cover delivery routes when RSRs are unavailable, load and deliver clean garments, and ensure timely service to customers along established routes.

This role rewards a proactive, agile individual with opportunities to upsell, support new accounts, and work with service, production, sales, and office teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• DOT compliance including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover delivery routes for Route Service Representatives when unavailable.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo safely.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
• Accurately manage invoices and conduct inventory checks.
• Follow safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with service and management teams on new accounts and route reroutes.
