Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in for Route Service Representatives and ensure seamless customer service on assigned routes. You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments, manage returns, and support the service and management teams with accurate invoicing and route related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including a physical examination.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable using and learning new technologies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Safely load, transport, and unload items; collect used garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
• Process invoices, conduct inventory audits, and keep vehicle clean and organized.
• Follow safety policies and traffic laws to protect yourself and others.
• Assist on routes, support new account installations, and upsell where appropriate.
