Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 305-unit midrise property in a dynamic Atlanta neighborhood. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and maintain grounds and common areas.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating on-call schedule; prior experience in property maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair defects in building systems.
• Familiarity with make-ready processes for vacant units.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document service work clearly and timely for record-keeping.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep including cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-saving by proper use of tools and materials and avoid waste.
