Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas in a fast-paced property environment. You will diagnose and repair mechanical issues, perform make-ready tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards across the property.

The role requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, state/local licensure, and a valid driver’s license to operate on-site equipment. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and efficiency is key to success.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant homes, from inspections to scheduling vendors and completing tasks.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting, and handling debris as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts rather than replacing them when feasible.
