Job summary

Greystar in Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled mechanical and maintenance work across the property. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role includes make-ready tasks, inventory management, and grounds upkeep in a midrise community. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal), a valid driver’s license for on-site golf carts, and flexibility for on-call hours.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready processes for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and tools inventory, sources supplies, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
