Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service property buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure the property meets safety and quality standards.

Tasks include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and assisting with make-ready processes for vacants. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license where applicable, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance work on buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Experience in completing work orders, inspections, and documenting work performed.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling needed trades.
• Follow procedures to obtain materials and track inventory for maintenance.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and follow-up.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting where needed.
• Help optimize costs by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
