Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of mid-rise properties meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes handling work orders, making-ready units, maintaining grounds, and documenting tasks, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Required EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license to operate on-property equipment. Competitive benefits and on-site responsibilities accompany the base pay of $22.00–$24.00 per

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required
• State and local certifications required
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, coordinating vendors and materials.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervision when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible and using tools correctly
