Job summary

Greystar in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle make-ready tasks, order materials, coordinate with vendors, track inventory, and support grounds and common areas.

The role includes on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must hold EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant certification and a valid driver's license; OSHA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/2 or Universal) required.
• Certifications per State and Local jurisdictions required.
• Valid driver's license required for golf-cart operation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes and prepare new move-ins.
• Track inventory, order supplies, and notify supervisors on re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
