Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, carry out repairs, and support preventive maintenance across on-site properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property equipment.
• Ability to perform maintenance per safety standards and policies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Makes ready for new move-ins by inspecting and repairing as needed.
• Tracks materials and inventory for maintenance tasks.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing.
