Job summary

Cushman and Wakefield in Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Multifamily, to support residents with move-ins, repairs, and timely service.

The role requires basic trades knowledge, EPA 608 Type II, and 1+ year experience; you will work across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and grounds upkeep.

On-site duties, safety compliance, and professional interaction with residents are essential; travel between properties and after-hours calls may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Type II certification and CPO or local city certification required.
• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with a professional attitude.
• Perform maintenance tasks across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed.
• Keep grounds, pools, common areas, and dog park amenities clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Attend trainings and perform duties on time.
