Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our multifamily property in Orchard Park, IL. The role involves making ready apartments, performing routine repairs, and ensuring high resident satisfaction with timely, professional service.

The technician will handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed, plus safety compliance and on-site reporting. On-site work with standard benefits applies.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical/vocational training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, safety rules, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs.
• Responds to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintains grounds, pools, common areas, and amenities to keep them clean and safe for residents.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as applicable.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
• Reports maintenance concerns to Maintenance Supervisor and performs scheduled maintenance.
