Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Utah to support maintenance operations across the property portfolio, including preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and timely response to work orders.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance in common areas and units, pool care and logs, hazard inspections, and collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure property objectives are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to use on-site software and basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance and repairs in common areas and units.
• Regular daily onsite attendance is required.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Repair and replace items in common areas and units as needed.
• Assist scheduling and execution of maintenance turns.
• Clean exterior grounds and all common areas daily.
• Pool maintenance and chemical logs kept up to date.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for hazards and safety concerns.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend asset life.
• Follow Asset key policy and safety guidelines (OSHA).
• Keep maintenance shop organized and stocked; adhere to safety rules.
• Support hazard communications and promote safe practices.
• Assist in unit inspections and inventory monitoring.
• Maintain records on service requests and EPA/OSHA standards.
• Help upkeep office, common areas, and model units.
• Report violations to supervisors; participate in on-call emergencies.
• Use resources efficiently and take on additional tasks as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer and resident relations.
