Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in performing maintenance tasks across our properties, including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic work. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Responsibilities include on-site attendance, responding to requests, assisting with make-ready projects, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while upholding property standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with the make-ready process and maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the property and minimize future repairs.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed; report hazards.
• Assist in daily upkeep of office, common areas, and model units.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
