Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property maintenance, including corrective, preventive, routine and cosmetic tasks under supervision. You will assist with make-ready processes and respond to resident requests promptly to maintain community standards.

Daily duties include inspecting buildings and grounds, keeping a clean, organized shop, logging service requests, and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safety, OSHA compliance and timely completion

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect community grounds, buildings and common areas daily to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program to extend asset life and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and follow safety guidelines (OSHA).
• Attend on-call emergencies and coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
