Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in executing maintenance processes across multifamily properties. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-readies and safety compliance.

You will respond to resident requests, perform unit and common area repairs, and help maintain the property’s assets while following policy guidelines and OSHA standards. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and on-site software familiarity.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas and units in a timely manner.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic tasks to sustain property operations.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend asset life.
• Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and common areas for hazards and needed repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory monitoring and on-site safety programs.
• Manage documentation of service requests, compliance records, and make-ready status.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and support resident relations.
