Job summary

RR Living is seeking a Service Technician to perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across a multifamily community. You will handle make-readies, plumbing, carpentry, painting, grounds care, and pool upkeep while ensuring resident comfort and safety.

The role requires physical stamina, on-call responsiveness, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Experience in renovation or large projects is a plus, with OSHA knowledge and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC / EPA certification preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• On-call responsibilities may be required to handle emergencies.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Expedite make-readies: check appliance operations, light changes, minor repairs.
• Plumbing repairs: fix drips, clogged sinks, fixtures; maintain plumbing systems.
• Pool maintenance: backwash, vacuum, chemical levels.
• Carpentry: repair balconies, doors, flooring, fences.
• Painting: repair drywall, texture walls, paint surfaces.
• Grounds maintenance: cleanup grounds, snow removal from public areas.
• Assist with service requests and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Repair and replace locks, doors, and window hardware as needed.
