Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented maintenance professional to uphold the quality of our multifamily properties. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, while ensuring units are well-maintained and ready for residents.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, on-call after hours, and maintaining curb appeal, with travel to regional trainings as required. Must be able to lift and carry tools and supplies and operate a vehicle legally.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting and cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Must be willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered, insured vehicle.
