Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to ensure quality upkeep of our properties and timely unit turns. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs while maintaining safety and curb appeal.

You will respond to work orders, be on-call after hours, and participate in HUD/LIHTC training to uphold compliance standards across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems.
• Familiar with REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
• Travel for regional and corporate training or conferences as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Inform manager of health and safety concerns.
• Willing to work overtime; participate in HUD and LIHTC maintenance standard training.
