Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking dynamic maintenance professionals to care for our multifamily properties. The role involves timely work order completion, proactive preventive maintenance, and ensuring units are ready for residents.

Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems, with willingness to train in HUD/LIHTC standards. Travel to regional training and collaboration with property teams is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel settings.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and respond to daily resident work orders.
• Be available for after-hours on-call.
• Carry and use applicable maintenance tools.
• Prepare unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning and cleaning tasks.
• Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks as needed.
• Pickup supplies from vendors while operating a registered, insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for tasks.
