Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking skilled maintenance professionals to upkeep multifamily properties, complete unit turns, and perform preventive maintenance. You’ll work on drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs while maintaining curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance, with knowledge of building systems and HUD/LIHTC standards. On-call after hours and potential travel for regional trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make-readies with painting, carpet cleaning, and cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Notify manager of health and safety concerns on site.
• Work overtime as needed and approved.
• Be eager to train in HVAC, safety, HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.
