Zusammenfassung

JES Holdings, a division of Fairway Management, is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair over 250 apartment communities and rental homes. Candidates should be punctual, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong foundation in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

Training in HUD/LIHTC standards is encouraged. Responsibilities include completing unit turns, responding to work orders, and assisting neighboring properties while travel

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems (eg. door entry systems, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns and maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for after-hours on-call.
• Have applicable maintenance tools.
• Complete unit make readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties as needed.
• Collect supplies from area vendors while legally operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent.
• Travel for regional and corporate training.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, staff.
• Inform manager of health and safety concerns on site.
• Willing to work overtime and participate in training.
