Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the physical upkeep of our properties, including units, common areas, and grounds. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins to uphold Greystar standards.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-site housing discounts may apply in some communities.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license for property operations and possible golf-cart use.
• State/local certifications as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance following policy, safety standards, and codes.
• Execute make-ready tasks for vacant units, inspect, schedule contractors, and ensure punch lists are addressed.
• Access and track materials, return unused items, and notify supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and closure.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance and cost-control initiatives.
