Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's physical areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, diagnose defects, and perform repairs.

You’ll also complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, manage inventory, inspect contractor work, and document tasks. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and finalization of maintenance tasks.
• Manage materials and inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service activities timely and accurately for traceability and reporting.
