Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Houston to support corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance across our properties. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure make-ready readiness and timely repairs, while upholding safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires on-site attendance, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, inventory, and records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and safety standards per OSHA guidelines.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features to identify hazards.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and inventory of equipment.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
