Job summary

Greystar in Glendale, CA is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 699-unit community. Schedule includes Tuesday–Saturday with weekend availability; 9am–6pm.

The role involves tours, applications, screening, move-ins, and renewals, plus a 20% housing discount. Qualifications include 1–2 years leasing experience and strong sales/customer service background.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leasing experience required.
• Multifamily and affordable housing experience preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service background with ability to convert prospects into leases.
• Experience with income-restricted programs, compliance documentation, and recertifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and move-in/lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and ensures units are ready for occupancy.
• Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies related to concessions.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, outreach programs, and internet marketing tools.
• Uses on-site management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability and leases.
• Ensures show units meet company standards and coordinates with maintenance.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to finalize lease/renewal decisions.
• Prepares renewal letters/packages and communicates with renewing residents.
• Responds promptly to resident/owner concerns.
