Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker Manager to lead and coach UB I and UB II across multiple branch locations. The role requires managing staffing, development plans, and performance while ensuring consistent service and compliance.

You will travel between branches to provide leadership and support operations. The position emphasizes driving member experience, meeting production goals, and partnering with the Area Service Manager to execute branch strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years in a retail banking or credit union environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to develop employees, manage performance, and coach sales and service behaviors.
• Knowledge of deposit products, lending, branch operations, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and Universal Banker II employees within an assigned branch cluster.
• Establish clear performance expectations and maintain regular coaching and development discussions.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, observations, performance reviews, development planning, and recognition activities.
• Staffing and workforce coordination across branches, including scheduling and coverage.
• Travel regularly between branch locations to provide leadership support.
