Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker Manager (UBM) to lead Universal Banker I/II across a branch cluster. You will coach performance, manage staffing, and ensure consistent service across locations.

You will travel between branches to support onboarding, supervise employees, and uphold branch operations, service standards, and risk controls while contributing to area goals.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising retail banking staff and developing talent.
• Ability to coach performance and drive service standards.
• Knowledge of deposits, lending, and branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I/II across branches.
• Set clear performance expectations; conduct coaching sessions.
• Lead one-on-one reviews, observations, and development plans.
• Address performance concerns per policy with coaching and action.
• Partner with Area Service Manager for leadership development.
• Support onboarding and integration of new hires.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
• Ensure understanding of priorities and standards.
• Coordinate staffing across branches and approve time off.
• Travel regularly to provide leadership support.
