Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service apartment communities. You will handle multiple trades to uphold quality, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction on-site.

The role emphasizes safety, timely work orders, and proactive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, with on-call responsibilities and strong coordination with the property team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field is preferred.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and common areas to maintain safety and cleanliness, identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal, fires, and floods.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about all issues at the property.
• Promote safety and risk management per local, state, and company rules.
