Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of apartment and property maintenance tasks. You will address electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds needs while upholding top-notch curb appeal and resident service.

You will manage work orders, participate in emergencies, and promote safety and quality across the property. A HS diploma and 1 year in property maintenance are required, with strong communication skills a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; one year of property management experience preferred.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are needed for routine repairs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Address a wide range of apartment and property maintenance duties as directed.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds tasks.
• Perform general carpentry such as wallboard, countertops, doors and tile repairs.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; address issues.
• Assist with emergencies (weather events, floods, etc.) as needed.
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership; maintain safety protocols.
• Promote safety and risk management in all activities.
• Maintain courteous, professional interactions with residents and team members.
