Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle apartment and property maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds. You will ensure safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction while following maintenance supervisor directions.

The role requires high school diploma and at least one year in property management or related field, plus general maintenance and carpentry skills. A valid driver’s license and professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wall repairs, countertop/cabinet replacement, window/door repairs, and tile work.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and elevator work.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance.
• Observe safety rules and risk management; promote safety culture.
• Engage with residents positively and maintain curb appeal and professional conduct.
