Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address a wide range of apartment and property maintenance tasks, keeping up the highest standards of customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

You will perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and more, while maintaining safety and responding to emergencies. Strong English skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as directed.
• Maintain curb appeal and high standards of customer service.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Support property emergencies and safety compliance as needed.
