Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a maintenance technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties at the assigned property, maintaining high customer service and curb appeal.

You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry, and participate in preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and timely work orders. The role requires a driver’s license and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed by guidelines.
• Carry out carpentry tasks like wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, and tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance such as painting, lighting, and pool upkeep.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion to standards.
• Communicate safety and risk management per company policies.
