Job summary

Greystar in Washington state seeks a Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety across the property.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver's license for on-site operations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The hourly range is $28.00–$31.00, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for additional bonuses.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications are required for technicians.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs to meet standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks inventory and ensures material availability by returning unused items and notifying the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Maintains documentation for service requests to ensure proper record-keeping and tracking.
• Assists in grounds/amenities upkeep such as cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts instead of replacing them where feasible.
