Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality in living spaces and common areas. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacancies, sustaining grounds, and documenting work accurately.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local credentials, and a valid driver's license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• State and Local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Implements the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and material acquisition.
• Tracks inventory of materials and returns unused items to the proper location, notifying management about re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper recording and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting in upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
