Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building components meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves handling work orders, preventive maintenance, make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory tracking, and basic grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and code.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units by inspecting and scheduling repairs, vendors, and supplies.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor for re-orders and maintains paperwork for service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and light painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
