Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role requires performing repairs, completing work orders, and assisting in make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The position emphasizes efficient material use, inventory tracking, and accurate documentation. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, with potential for bonus programs per company policy.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or facilities work.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems per policy.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and respond to requests.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant homes, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Access materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, and notify for re-orders.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
