Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Practice Operations Manager to oversee daily activities across its physician locations, ensuring smooth front and back office operations and staff performance. You will manage budgets, monitor revenue cycles, and address patient issues while coordinating with physicians and leadership to achieve goals.

You will travel between sites to supervise, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, playing a key role in quality and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of physician practices, including front and back office functions.
• Supervises staff, interviews, hires, trains, and conducts evaluations.
• Develops the practice budget; monitors financial and revenue cycle metrics.
• Reviews reconciliation of monies collected and deposited; supports financial controls.
• Monitors patient satisfaction and addresses complaints to improve service.
• Ensures quality and performance improvement by tracking metrics and deficiencies.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to meet organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements; travels to multiple locations.
