Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh is seeking a physician practice administrator to manage daily operations across hospital clinics. You will supervise staff, hire and train teams, and partner with leadership to optimize budgets, staffing, and revenue cycles.

Role requires 3-5 years in physician practice settings with at least 2 years in practice management, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CPPM is preferred. Travel to multiple locations is common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• 3-5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.
• Preferred CPPM certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of physician practices and front/back office functions.
• Supervises staff, interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops practice budgets and monitors financial and revenue cycle metrics.
• Reviews reconciliation of monies collected and deposited.
• Monitors patient satisfaction reports and addresses variances.
• Drives quality and performance improvement by tracking metrics and addressing deficiencies.
• Collaborates with physicians and leadership to achieve goals.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and HIPAA policies.
