Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will handle rent collection, accounts receivable, and budget adherence while guiding onsite staff to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

As an onsite leader, you will manage leasing, marketing strategies, and resident relations, with a focus on maximizing NOI and maintaining property standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years housing industry experience or one to two years related experience.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income for residents.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor delinquency and send late notices; coordinate evictions.
• Support budgeting, revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
• Lead onsite staff through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing.
