Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will support the Community Manager, manage rent collections, and supervise onsite staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.

This role emphasizes teamwork, leasing activity, and resident satisfaction in a fast-paced property setting. Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling receivables, budgeting support, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for applicants, residents, and non-residents.
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist in budgeting to meet revenues and expenses; manage month-end closing.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill utilities as applicable.
• Conduct unit walks and post move-out charges and deposits.
