Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Lynnwood, WA to oversee operations across multiple locations. You will lead shift leads and associates, drive daily operations, and cultivate a culture built on customer obsession, trust and continuous learning.

You will track key metrics, manage performance, and ensure safety and security across sites, while traveling 50-75% and working flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading customer-facing teams in retail, hospitality, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and results delivery.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• 2+ years leadership in customer-facing retail or related environment, or equivalent Amazon experience, or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift leads and associates, overseeing hiring, onboarding, performance, and growth.
• Drive daily operations by executing SOPs, identifying improvements, training.
• Foster a customer-focused culture aligned with leadership principles.
• Track metrics, manage inputs, and present results in reviews.
• Oversee multiple sites, manage time, develop store leadership.
• Ensure a safe, clean, secure environment for employees and customers.
• Handle escalations and guide issue resolution.
• Travel 50-75% between locations.
