Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for early career development, located in WA/OR. You will lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse setting, driving safety, quality and productivity while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role emphasizes mentoring, coaching, and developing team members, with extensive training to become a strong people leader and to manage on-the-floor operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required or in progress in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous warehouse environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages with pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment where applicable.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance standards.
