Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in WA to lead an hourly team and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will engage staff during shifts, drive performance, and collaborate with Safety, Engineering and HR to meet business goals.

The role requires lifting up to 49 lbs, standing for extended periods, and flexibility to work varied shifts in a dynamic fulfillment network across First/Middle/Last Mile operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Work in variable temperatures and environments, including outdoor loading areas.
• Occasionally climb stairs and operate in noisy settings.
