Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments, collect returns, and ensure timely, accurate service to customers across established routes.

This role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards as you drive efficiency and customer satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Learn the ins and outs of multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Collect used or soiled garments and products for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices and conduct inventory audits.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Assist on routes, support new account installations, and participate in rerouting efforts.
• Share customer feedback and potential solutions with location leadership.
