Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to act as a flexible delivery pro when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver clean garments on established paths, and support the service team with proactive customer interactions.

Ideal candidates are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Meet DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma or GED; military service acceptable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
• Previous route sales or delivery experience is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers on established routes.
• Load/unload items safely and collect used garments for return.
• Provide high-quality customer service and maintain relationships.
• Resolve customer issues and exercise problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory checks, and keep vehicle clean and safe.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety.
• Support route scalability, assist with new account installations, and upsell where appropriate.
