Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload garments and products to customers, ensuring timely, accurate service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes safety, route flexibility, and collaboration with service teams, with opportunities to upsell and support new installations while upholding UniFirst standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Collect and secure used garments for return and ensure timely service.
• Provide high-quality customer service and build strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
