Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist in Indianapolis to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload garments and products to customers along established routes, while maintaining safety and quality service.

You will also collaborate with service teams, manage invoices, conduct inventory checks, and support new account installations. The role requires proactive, autonomous work with strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
• DOT physical exam requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or military service
• Ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Experience in route sales, delivery, or customer service is a plus
• Comfort with learning new technologies to boost operational efficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and customer details
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships
• Resolve customer requests independently with strong problem-solving
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety
• Support new account installations and route rerouting with teams
