Job summary

UniFirst in the United States (Indiana) is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to join our delivery team. You will step in to cover routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, learning multiple routes and ensuring seamless service for customers.

You will load, transport, and unload garments and products, collect used items for return, and stay focused on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction as part of a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license required with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements including physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable using new technologies to boost efficiency.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle appearance and safety.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
